Congratulations and Welcome to BHERGAON COLLEGE the only premier and higher education institute in Bhergaon area which is the sub-divisional head quarter of Bhergaon administrative sub-division. There is no denying in the fact that a country or a society cannot adapt with the rapidly changing world, without proper education. The far sightedness of the educationally consious and dynamic citizens of Bhergaon area felt it necessary to establish a college at Bhergaon. Hence, under the spirited leadership of Sri Rati Ram Baro, Ex. M.C.L.A., No. 32 Bhergaon constituency of the BTC and social worker a junior college with the name Bhergaon Junior College was established in 2005 with much enthusiasm and overwhelming response of the students and guardians. Later the degree section has been added to it in 2007.
We left no stone unturned to make the college full fledged. The Degree section of the college has got 1st & 2nd year T.D.C. permission from G.U., and 3rd year permission affiliated under Bodoland University.
But this is not sufficient and many more has to be done in near future. Recently, the college get shifted to its own land measuring 30 bighas at Mahaliapara Village, Bhergaon.
I feel myself lucky that I have got an excellent and hard working ‘ staff to run the College. I hope that, I would get full co-operation from my staff, the Governing Body, students and the public in general to bring the college to its ultimate goal.
